I was in my local GoodWill yesterday, and I saw this logo on a jacket.
The brand is "London Fog", and underneath the picture of good ol' Big Ben, there is a mountain with the words "Outdoors Unlimited". Now this in itself seems to be a bit of a contradiction. I've been to London, and there is a distinct lack of large snowy mountains and evergreen trees...
Not only that, but there are three lines of text underneath it that really take the cake.
Londontown Corporation
Baltimore, Maryland
Made in Taiwan
So "London Fog" and the Londontown Corporation both seemed to based in Maryland. Far away from mountainous London streets, and even farther away from Taiwan, where it is produced.
Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this is funny, I don't know...
Does anyone else see the irony?
